- Introduction to the subject of valves for process engineering and for the distribution of operating media
- Basic terms and regulatory codes for valve designs
- Functional principles, modes of action and technical differences
- Process for selecting valves (dimensioning, processes, media, plant technology)
- Application examples
- Functional and cut models provide practical insights into valves, measurement and control systems
